Concert Tickets

Having been an avid fan and collector of Pearl Jam items, I logically kept my concert tickets to Pearl Jam related shows, which happened to be most of my early shows (Pearl Jam, Brad, etc.). Later I starting keeping all of my ticket stubs, so the following is my collection, at 120 dots per inch. There are two tickets for shows that I didn't attend: Ladytron 2/17/2003 (which I couldn't make due to inclement weather) and Britney Spears 7/10/2004 (which was cancelled when Britney injured her knee). An item of interest is the ticket to the 7/19/2000 Dave Matthews Band show. Two friends and I purchased tickets from someone outside the stadium. When we got to the gates I made it in along with one friend, but the other friend was stopped and interrogated about her ticket. It is apparent from looking at the stub that the ticket was a fake (opener Ben Harper is spelled "Ben Haper"). Needless to say, the one friend had to buy a real ticket at the gate, zeroing out any cost savings that we may have gained from purchasing from a scalper. This taught me a lesson about buying tickets from shady people, though I also think that the Ryan Adams 3/22/2002 ticket may have been a fake. Except for one exception (the hugely torn Ben Harper 4/20/2001 stub), it is fairly obvious what show these tickets correspond to, but helpful information can be found on the concerts attended or concerts missed pages.
